At Kimberley Anne Bridal Boutique, brides are seen on an appointment basis so each bride has full benefits from the exclusive use of the beautiful boutique.

Each appointment is an hour and a half so there is enough time for me to understand your vision, browse the dresses and help bring your dreams to life whilst we play dress up.

If this is your first appointment in a bridal boutique, I know it can be quite scary and daunting as well as exciting.  To put you at ease I have answered some common questions below to help you best prepare yourself.

The most important thing is to enjoy every moment and trust that I will do everything I can to ensure your dress journey is one that you will remember forever.

Please note that there is now a £10 charge for Saturday bridal appointments which is fully refundable against a purchase of a dress.

Please ensure you have read our COVID-19 Procedures before attending your appointment.

To make an appointment contact me on, 01200 538988, send me an email at or fill in your details below.

Around 12-18 months before your wedding is a good time to start looking for your dress.  I would advise that you should aim to order your dress at least 9 months before your wedding to allow time for your dress to be made, delivered and fitted.  If you are on a short timescale, some of my designers offer a rush order, however there is usually a small charge for this.  During certain times of the year I will also have sample dresses on sale which can be bought and taken away straight away.

Please note we can only book brides in the diary who have a wedding date booked and is within 2 years.

When you first arrive there will be a short questionnaire to complete and we can discuss your vision and dreams of your big day. I will then show you the collections stocked within the boutique and once we’ve indentified the dresses that catch your eye, you can make a selection of dresses to try and this is when the dress-up fun begins.

Please see the COVID-19 Procedures page whilst the Government Guidelines are in place – during this time we can only allow 2 addition guests. At this time we cannot allow children to attend during appointments.

I would advise on wearing nude or white underwear and a strapless bra can be useful if you want to try on strapless dresses. At the moment due to our COVID-19 procedures we do ask that if you would like to wear heels whilst trying the dresses that you bring your own.

The only thing I do ask is if you could please refrain from wearing heavy make up and fake tan.  It can stain the dresses and therefore a dry cleaning cost may be incurred.

My dress samples are sized between 10-16, but the majority of them are a size 12-14.  Don’t worry if that’s not your size, there’s lots of ways to give you a good idea of how they will look when they are in your size and fit properly.

Our separates collection start from £250 and our dresses range between £1200 – £3000.

Due to a rise in No Shows we have had to implement a non-refundable £10 booking charge for all Saturday appointments. Payment is taken at the time of booking in order for us to confirm it in the diary.

The £10 booking fee will be fully redeemable against any dress purchased during your appointment.

We can move your booking fee to another date if you wish to rearrange your appointment if a minimum of 48 hours notice is given.

To place your order there is a non-refundable 50% deposit required.  The remaining balance is then due when your dress arrives into the boutique.

When your dress is delivered into the boutique I can hold it for up to 4 weeks, if you wish for me to hold the dress for longer that is no problem at all however there will be a small holding charge due to limited storage at the boutique.

I provide a ‘What Happens Next‘ information leaflet with your invoice.  Here is a copy of what happens next:

Your dress will arrive into the boutique as per the estimated delivery date on your invoice.I will contact you to arrange a collection & styling appointment for you to try your dress. Please note that we can only hold your dress in the boutique free of charge for a maximum of up to 4 weeks. (Please refer to the Terms & Conditions)

Please ensure you have a safe place you can hang the dress up in the protective bag provided.

If you need alterations, we have an independent professional and qualified seamstress that we recommend. These generally start a couple of months prior to your wedding date. Your alterations are a separate charge and will be payable direct to your seamstress.

The fitting process begins around 8 weeks prior to your wedding date. This will give you the chance to discuss your requirements and allow your seamstress to give you an idea of timescale to complete your alterations.

We have a fantastic qualified and professional independent seamstress that we recommend.  All alterations are not included in the price of the dresses.  My seamstress will personally recommend the necessary work needed and will advise of the cost individually.

After you have placed your order, your dress will arrive into the boutique as per the estimated delivery date on your invoice. I will contact you to arrange a collection & styling appointment for you to try your dress & discuss alterations if necessary.  Due to being a small boutique I have limited storage so therefore I can only hold your dress free of charge in the boutique for a maximum of up to 4 weeks. (Please refer to the Terms and Conditions).

Collection and styling appointments are available Tuesday to Friday and it is the brides responsibility to ensure they can be free to attend during our opening hours.

Prior to your wedding, store the dress away from heat, light and damp.

After your wedding your dress may need some TLC. We work alongside a specialist dry-cleaning company so that your beautiful dress can be taken care of in expert hands.

All you need to do is get in contact with us after your wedding and arrange a drop off date. From here the company will collect your dress, assess it and inform you of the price to clean your dress. The company then returns your dress to us ready for you to collect. The turn around is usually 7-10 days however if you need your dress ready for an event sooner we can arrange this for you.

If you also want a special bridal box to store your dress in we can arrange one of these.
